Room Renovation, help?
I have a realy small room and at the moment it justt looks cluttered, does anybody have any ideas how to make a smaller room seem larger

One way that also improves value is to install either tile or wood at a 45 degree angle on the floor. When you walk into it, the long diagonal lines running from corner to corner will make the room appear larger. Another way that isn’t as expensive it to add some sort of long trim along the wall. Many newer homes have chair rail installed in smaller dining rooms and kitchens so that you see the longer lines running the length of the wall and give you the illusion of the room being larger.
