Better Public Transport For Rural New South Wales?
New South Wales Came alive with Public Transport. Under The Neville Wran administration. Rural NSW saw the introduction of a very fast train project called XPT’S. Apparently at the time they only had enoughcapital to buy six sets, of 7 carriages each. They also introduced Explorer Trains twenty years on these trains are now deteriating and are in need of replacement.
it would be great if we had 24 sets of very fast trains to the capital cities. That way we would be able to get to our destination and back home again in the one day.
Is’nt Pacific National getting on to that now ?
