Special licensing and inspections of your home are required. Your kitchen must be in excellent condition and very clean. No pets are allowed in homes where cooking professionally for catering purposes are allowed.
Telemarketing – more often companies are hiring at home workers to do cold calling from their homes. While this is a very difficult profession and most markets are saturated, these jobs do pay by the hour. Over the phone selling pays over minimum wage and benefits are generally offered, but are sometimes too pricey for workers who depend on the wage of a telemarketer to get by.
Collections – like telemarketing, bill collecting is not generally a fun job. On the up side, most companies pay a base wage, plus a commission for every bill collected. You can generally get the satisfaction of helping clients work on payment plans to help them get out of debt as well.
