It has been estimated that sixteen percent of greenhouse gasses produced in the United States every year come from energy that is used in homes. So it means that the less energy used that there is less greenhouse gas produced.
By building an energy efficient home there will be no cold breezes blowing through your home making it cold and at time very uncomfortable. New energy efficient homes also protect against cold, heat, drafts, and also moisture. It will not only improve the air quality inside but it also keeps the temperature consistent.
