what is this tiny Black and white bug?
I have lived in my house for 3 years and only now have these bugs started to appear.
It has been a year since we have done any renovations and so they have not been disturbed. I first found them on the windowsill in the bathroom and other than in the bath (which is under the window) I have not seen them anywhere else.
They have been around for about 3/4 weeks, I am guilty of flushing them down the bath but then more appear.
Do you know what they are?
Where have they come from?
What are they attracted to?
How can I get rid of them?

the bug is an oval shape.
it was difficult to take photo as they are so small as they kept coming out blurred but I did get one in the end
Yes, I googled and it is a Varied Carpet Beetle.
